During the peak period of electricity consumption in winter, voltage instability may occur under certain circumstances. At this time, it is necessary to see whether the electrical appliances in the home can withstand it. If the voltage is unstable during use and the electrical appliance cannot withstand this voltage change, a short circuit or failure is likely to occur. Take the air conditioner as an example, what should I do if the voltage is unstable?
So, what should we do if the voltage is unstable while using the air conditioner?
1. The compressor motor is difficult to start.
When the main control switch is turned to the cooling gear, pay attention to listening to whether the compressor has started and entered the running state. If it cannot be started, it should be shut down immediately, and if it still cannot be started after restarting, the refrigeration should be suspended, and then restarted after the voltage rises. Do not leave without authorization when the main control switch is turned to the cooling gear, because even if the compressor overload protector is frequently turned on and off for a long time, in case the contacts are ignited, the high current passing through the compressor motor wire set may make it burn.
How does the air conditioner encounter low voltage to turn "catastrophe" into "difficulty solution"?
At the moment when the air conditioner is started, because the starting current is too large, the pointer of the ammeter can drop to the bottom instantaneously, and then return to the normal operating current value of the air conditioner (please refer to the product manual). For example, the normal working current of an air conditioner with a cooling capacity of 3480W (3000kcal/h) is 7.5A. If the pointer of the ammeter hits the bottom at the moment of starting, and then the pointer points back to 1A, it means that the compressor is not working, and the current value of 1A is only Indicates that the wind turbine is working. At this time, the main control switch should be used to cut off the compressor circuit.
2. The operation of the compressor is unstable. Grid voltage fluctuations will cause the compressor to run extremely abnormally, and sometimes it will stop automatically. In this case, the user should use the main control switch to cut off the compressor circuit to prevent the compressor motor line from being burned.
